1009-02 PRR F41D Flatcar - HO Scale

Rounding out the production of these flats, the last group of 50 cars was built in 1962 as class F41D, PRR 480300-480349.  These were painted in the new “plain keystone” scheme, and again rode on older salvaged Crown 70-ton trucks.  Many of these cars received various replacement trucks in the Conrail era, so check prototype photos for that period.

Note the photo shows an F41B, as the B and D subclasses are extremely similar.

Kit does not include trucks, couplers, or decals.  Provisions for mounting air hoses and Tangent uncoupling levers (neither are included) are provided.
