Taylor 50 ton flexible freight car truck, as used by the Reading. The sideframes of the prototype truck were able to rotate around the circular area in the center, meant to improve the car’s ride. RDG cars equipped with Taylor trucks included XMt ARA 1923 boxcars 100000-100999 (later retrofits, not as-built), XMu ARA 1923 boxcars 101000-102999 (Atlas), GMl USRA gondolas 24150-24249 (Walthers/Westerfield), & GHf gondolas (70 ton) 30000-30199.
